A Flying Start

Kidz at Woodcroft
Preschool for 3-year-olds is coming to Kidz@woodcroft
We’re thrilled to announce that Kidz@Woodcroft has been selected to deliver the South Australian Government’s Flying Start program from 2027.
Flying Start is an exciting new initiative offering eligible three year old children up to 15 hours of teacher led, play based preschool each week.
Being chosen to deliver this program is an incredible milestone for our centre. As a family owned childcare centre, we’re proud to partner with the South Australian Government and give local children an even stronger start to their learning journey.
Flying Start for Kids is a South Australian Government program designed to give eligible three year old children access to an extra year of high quality preschool before they begin school. At Kidz@Woodcroft, children can receive up to 15 hours of teacher led, play based preschool each week in the familiar and nurturing environment of our centre.
Qualified Early Childhood Teacher
Learning is led by a qualified Early Childhood Teacher who plans engaging experiences to build confidence, curiosity and independence.
Up to 15 Hours Each Week
Eligible three year old children can access up to 15 hours of preschool each week within their usual care at Kidz@Woodcroft.
Learning Through Play
Children learn through meaningful play, exploration and hands on experiences shaped around their interests.
Support for Every Child
Smaller groups and individual support help every child learn, develop and feel confident at their own pace.
